Korovian Archmage

Unlike other prestige classes that specialize in one concept, the Korovian Archmage tends to “dabble deeply” into several topics: Item Creation, Scrying, and Alchemy. They also tend to have very good concentration from scrying and studying constantly. The Korovian Archmage is a expert at scrying and creating alchemical and magical items. Diviners often become Korovian Archmages, but it’s not a necessity.

Hit Die: d4
Requirements: Ability to cast 3rd level arcane spells, Alchemy 8 ranks, and Concentration 8 ranks.
Class Skills: 4 Skill Points/level. Gains a +2 intuition bonus to Concentration & Alchemy.
Weapon & Armour Proficiency: No new weapon or armour proficiency.
Spells per Day: When a new Korovian Archmage level is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if she had also gained a level in an arcane spellcasting class she belonged to before adding the Korovian Archmage prestige class. She does not however gain any other abilities that the previous class would have gained. If the character had more than one arcane spellcasting class, they must choose which one gains the bonus permanently.

Scry Bonus: Whenever casting divination spells that have casting times longer than 1 minute, reduce to the casting time one-minute.
Bonus Feat: The Korovian Archmage gains a bonus item creation feat at levels 2 and 4. Many Archmage’s learn to make Wondrous Items in an effort to make their own crystal ball or maybe a magical mirror.
Improved Scry Bonus: When using Scrying, Greater Scrying or a Crystal Ball the Korovian Archmage can raise the Will DC by +4. When casting Divination spells, the Korovian Archmage can Eschew Components as per the feat.
Greater Scry Bonus: The Archmage no longer needs an expensive mirror, crystal ball or holy water anymore. They may use Scrying Spells with any normal mirror, water or reflective surface (glass, a shiny shield, etc). Raise the Will DC when scrying by an addition +2 (total +6).
