Judith Weratschnig is a guest artist at the Lilith Gallery. Her work is very gothic and could be described as "gothic folk art", even though she was trained for 4 years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria. Her work is reminiscent of gothic graphic novels and also the drawings/paintings of H. R. Giger.
Judith has shown her works in various underground art galleries in Vienna and showed her art at the Leipzig-Wave Gotik Meeting in 2000.
She describes her work as being a combination of comic, horror, illustration, graphic, and painting, and uses a combination of paint, ink and graphite. She also does design work for metal bands.
The names of her works above are listed with both Deutsch (german) and English versions. The English versions of the names are not translations.
Judith currently lives in Tirol, Austria.
